Urinal Sanitisers – Internal & External Units

“EHS provides the complete installation and maintenance of sanitisers for automatic flushing urinals”

• Keeps Urinal area clean and fresh smelling – no more nasty malodours
• Is used to compliment current cleaning practices whilst eliminating the need for use of toxic chemicals
• Keeps drains free flowing and unclogged
• Suitable for both ceramic and stainless steel urinals

Q. How do the urinal sanitisers work?

A. The highly concentrated solution is dispersed with each “flush” which helps clear organic waste and inturn reduces stains and malodours.

Q. What are the main differences between the internal and external sanitisers?

A. Internal sanitisers are used when easy access is available to the cisterns. External units are only required when access to the cistern is unavailable as the urinals are directly “plumbed” in via pipework.

Q. Are the urinal sanitisers safe & easy to use?

A. EHS urinal sanitisers are safe for all septic tanks and are biodegradable and ecologically safe for the environment. EHS installs and changes the units as per your requirements, usually every 8 weeks. Sometimes more frequent servicing is required depending on usage volumes.

Q. This sounds like a costly unit, it seems to do so much?

A. Quite the opposite – EHS believes that the urinal sanitiser is the most economically viable solution to Urinal hygiene and sanitation. Combined with other products your urinal area should NEVER need to smell like a public washroom again!!

Urinal Maintainers

“We believe that the EHS Maintainers are one of the most cost effective solutions to malodours in your bathroom”

• Quick, easy and a cost effective solution to minimising malodours from urinal drains
• Strong and effective solution is dissolved upon each “flush” therefore minimal wastage of product
• EHS can supply/and install the urinal maintainers according to the usage of your urinals
• Helps keep drains clear and unblocked whilst providing a refreshing scent
• Minimises air-borne bacteria with each flush

Q. How long do the urinal maintainers last?

A. On average the maintainers are replaced 4 weekly, more often in high usage areas

Q. Our cleaners can install the urinal maintainers when needed (as we only have 2 males using a single ceramic urinal), where can we purchase them?

A. EHS can supply you with the maintainers, just call our customer service team on 1300 88 90 91 or contact us online

Urinal Deep Cleans (De-scaling)

“Remember: prevention is always better than a cure – what can be worse than a strong smelling urinal which no amount of scrubbing can help!”

• A treatment whereby the highest standard of hygiene is applied – the complete cleaning, de-scaling and sanitising of the primary plumbing systems is carried out
• The total surface area of the urinals is treated at each service, this includes
the steps, traps, grates and drains
• Our specially formulated solution removes strong malodours which are mainly a build up of uric salts
• Our solution is specifically formulated to ensure that there is no damage to porcelain or metal surfaces or the environment
• Suitable for both ceramic and stainless steel urinals of any size/type
• Safe on drains, pipes and septic tanks

Q. We have cleaners that do a great job cleaning the urinals, but we have noticed that a certain “odour” lingers no matter what chemicals we try!

A. This is because only 1 particular solution can eliminate the build up of uric acid which inturn gives off a strong “malodour”. The issue is that these acids are usually not just on the surface of the urinal itself but also in the plumbing systems, surrounding steps/tiles, drains and grates.

Q. Once we’ve implemented a “deep clean program” does this mean our cleaners no longer need to clean the urinals on a daily basis?

A. No! The “Urinal Deep Clean” treatment program is a service which is designed to maintain the highest standards of hygiene together with the daily cleaning and maintenance of the urinal area. In high usage areas, Deep Cleans are performed every 4 weeks, and every 8 weeks for standard usage areas.

Q. We are thinking of moving towards a “waterless” urinal system – can EHS help?

A. Yes, we have our very own EHS “Eco-Flush” Urinal System which reduces water wastage by at least 96%. Please visit our “Eco-Flush” section which will provide you with the latest in environmental technology.
